Ministry Reflection
This week was great! I really got to build new relationships and on the ones that I have built before. On Sunday, we went to a corn maze and just hang out. We also got to carve pumpkins. This was a nice relaxing time, because, I was able talk to them and joke around with them. I was really just able to find out interesting things about them. On Wednesday, we had our second meeting of small groups. The attendance the week was at 7 which is almost double that of last week. We talked about the importance of fellowship. The kids found out that we are called to it, that it can be hard work, BUT that it is totally worth it. In the end we broke off, and talked about how we can keep a small group safe. I was with a boy named Matthew, all night he kept bringing up that it needs to be trustworthy. It made me wonder if, his trust was broken before? I do know that we connected and I am excited to talk to him more. During a little free time I looked ahead on the "Live" curriculum that we are using. I am very interested to see how the kids will receive and re-act to the lessons.
Spiritual Reflection
After the past couple weeks being really hard to find God, it was nice to have a more love filled week. It started last week and kept growing from there. It was really releaving to see and feel God take control of my worries and let them work out according to his plan. In the same way with the youth group the kids are starting to open up a little more about their spiritual life, I feel connected to all them in a way
