Ministry Reflection
This week was a fun week. It is nice to see the numbers keep increasing in the groups. Our Sunday night continued to be big in numbers, while our Wednesday night was still small, yet it was bigger than the last Wednesday nights. I felt that Sunday night was a more important night than Wednesday. We talked about service, and how service toward the body is very important. The fact that prayer alone is a great way to show and have service. On Wednesday night we began to talk about God and trying to describe Him. Each of the Jr and Sr High are excited for the upcoming trips that they have. The Jr. High are excited for next Saturday, where they will be going to Indy for the day and playing laser tag, bowling and they might be going ice skating. The Sr. High are excited for the upcoming camping trip. Although it is not till January 8th they are still pumped and giving their friends alot of static that is not going. It is great to see that I am invited and wanted to go by the youth group. All in all it just keeps better, my relationships with the kids keeps growing and its just a great feeling to see that happen
Spiritual Reflection
This week I have started to read Wild at Heart. It is a great book, that talks about becoming a man, and fighting for what we need to fight for to feel like that man. I am finding alot of truth to this book that is very encouraging. My walk right now is great, although I may not be getting all the time alone with God that I want. In the youth group its going ok. It still seems like they are afraid to take the next step and really open up about their faith.
